About The Program

Teens In Action (T.I.A.) equips youth with essential knowledge and skills to combat human trafficking through a structured six-week curriculum. Participants engage in interactive sessions covering identification of risks, personal safety strategies, peer advocacy, and responsible reporting protocols.

Key Objectives

•     Define human trafficking, dispel myths, and recognize red flags in communities.

•     Develop digital and in-person safety plans, including boundary-setting and role-play scenarios.

•     Foster leadership by training participants as Peer Advocates committed to awareness campaigns and support.

Program Structure

Delivered via weekly sessions with real-life scenarios, discussions, journal prompts, and advocacy exercises, the program culminates in action planning and recognition. Reporting resources include the National Human Trafficking Hotline (1-888-373-7888) and emergency services. Empower youth to lead change.
